I grew up in Saskatchewan and Alberta, and I’m very proud of my prairie upbringing and influences. In the late 80s, I moved to Ottawa, and continue to happily reside as an “Eastern Canadian”, though I’m a Westerner at heart!
My 30+ year career has spanned global technology companies (both established and start-ups), as well as health and life science corporations, venture capital companies, and Not-for-Profit and Government/Crown Corporations.
I’ve spent more than half my career working in global cybersecurity firms, both as a consultant and as organizational trail blazer. Since 2007, I’ve had the pleasure of serving as a Board member and advisor for outstanding organizations.
Over my career and lifelong education, I’ve had the opportunity to specialize in strategic planning, c-suite communications, governance, employee engagement, motivation, organizational behaviour, workplace performance, cultural diversity and inclusion, customer advocacy, and marketing communications.
I am PCC accredited by the International Coaching Federation, a Certified Executive Coach through Royal Roads University, and I hold additional certifications from IBM, which include: Blue Core Coach and IBM Career Coach, Advanced Sales Coach, and Agile Explorer.
